ABOUT US

Puri-Tea's are Mini-Identi-Tea's in training. "Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6

Puri-Tea’s Goal is to build young women of purpose, power and purity. We will train, help, guide and build esteem in youth from ages 8 – 19. We empower girls through exposure to biblical principles and practical information with emphasis on education, business, finances, etiquette, health and sexual abstinence.

The (Tea) in Puri-Tea, represents the gift of uniqueness that is in each teen in our program.

Puri-Tea Pledge: Having accepted Jesus as my Savior, I will follow Him in service, in testimony, in attitude, and in relationships; striving always to glorify my Lord as a Puri-Tea.

Puri-Tea Motto: I will grow and follow Jesus.

Puri-Tea Verse: Teach me Your way, O Lord, and I will walk in Your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear Your name. I will praise You... with all my heart; I will glorify Your name forever. (Psalm 86:11-12 NIV)

Puri-Tea Colors: Pink, green, and white, which stand for passion, growth, and purity.

OUTREACH PROGRAMS

Puri-Tea offers different outreach programs that will nurture, educate, and have a positive impact on every aspect of a growing girls life.

TEA-Cher Network is our 12 week teen abstinence program based on the Aspire Curriculum from Abstinence & Marriage Partnership. Through this program teens are able to understand that abstinence until marriage is not only God's plan for their lives, but also the best and only way to avoid the harmful physical and emotional effects of premarital sex. By offering a message of forgiveness and new beginnings, the program also reaches out to those teens that have become sexually active and offers an opportunity to embrace a "second virginity".

Growing Seeds are small groups of girls participating in workshops and group activities. Activities include monthly book club meeting, Saturday monthly brunch, beauty make over seminars, and annual spiritual conferences.

One Pure is a community-based mentoring program where mentors provide teens with one-on-one time and attention in their communities, typically two to four times a month. During these unstructured outings they cultivate relationships that provide teens with skills to manage every day challenges. Through simple friendship mentors experience the joy of helping teens discover a world of possibilities and opportunities.

One Pure also includes school-based mentoring where mentors provide teens with one-on-one time and attention in their schools, typically once a week during the academic year. Teachers identify teens who can benefit most from interaction with a caring adult. As their friendships evolve, volunteers and children discover ways to make school and learning fun.

ANNUAL PURI-TEA ACHIEVEMENT CEREMONY

Puri-Tea Girls make their way through age appropriate Puri-Tea Achievement Programs. Each group focuses on

basic Christian doctrine, community missions, interactive activities, and character development. 

Twelve month units are supplemented with projects and Adventures.  Memorization, projects, and Bible reading are all a part of completing the achievement programs.   A graduation ceremony is held, and participating girls are awarded certificates for completing programs as a Creative B-Ginning, Seed of Faith, Son-Shine Reign, or Pure Petal.  

ANNUAL PUR-TICULAR PAJAMA JAM

The Annual Pure-ticular Pajama Jam is a event created to show girls that they are beautiful, valuable and can have fun as christians, simply because they were created by God. In the face of peer pressure, body image questions and relationship struggles, God’s word is full of positive messages and promises that girls can claim and live by.
